Vanity Fair released its annual International Best-Dressed List on Wednesday morning.

I welcomed the predictability of this year’s list. After all, a culmination such as this would be glaringly incomplete without celebrities and taste-makers Rihanna, Harry Styles, Roger Federer, and Cate Blanchett. All have had a phenomenal year in fashion.

See the entire list here.

Speaking of newcomers, this year’s list aren’t just stylish they are influential. Jaden Smith, son of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, always turns heads in his androgynous-leaning looks, especially when he’s holding newly shorn locks on the red carpet as he did for his dramatic 2017 Met Gala entrance.

Donald Glover (who I will always remember for confidently sporting a chocolate brown velvet suit at this year’s Golden Globes) is a leader on screen (as the star and creator of the FX sitcom Atlanta) and in the music industry (He is Childish Gambino, you know.) And then Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada is perfect in every fashionable and humanitarian way possible.

I was pleased to see Solange Knowles (we’re friends in my head) and Janelle Monae on this list, too.

World leaders who exhibit a strong individual sense of style weren’t overlooked either. Former first couple Barack and Michelle Obama; King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands; Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh made the list.

Finally, every best-dressed list must include some mention of the world’s most haute designers: Miuccia Prada and Hervé Pierre, stylist and designer for first lady Melania Trump, received the honor this year.

2017 marks the 77th year Vanity Fair has published the International Best-Dressed List.
