Phillies prospects Scott Kingery, Rhys Hoskins homer in IronPigs loss

A rundown of how the Phillies minor league affiliates fared on Friday.

INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE (AAA)

Durham 5, Lehigh Valley 3: RHP Mark Leiter Jr. gave up two homers in a three-run third as the IronPigs (61-38) snapped a five-game winning streak.
2B Scott Kingery (No. 5) and 1B Rhys Hoskins (No. 21) each hit solo homers for Lehigh Valley (61-38). LF Dylan Cozens (.236) went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts.

Hoskins' 21 home runs are one off the league lead shared by Cozens and Richie Shaffer of Columbus.

EASTERN LEAGUE (AA)

Reading 4, Erie 3: LF Cord Sandberg hit a walk-off homer Sanberg, who entered the contest hitting .138 in 10 games since being promoted from High-A Clearwater, went 2-for-4 and scored twice. He is not related to Ryne Sandberg.

Starter Jose Taveras gave up three runs in 5.1 innings. Shane Watson relieved Taveras and got a clutch doubleplay to end Erie's threat in the sixth.
Alexis Rivero (4-3, 4.31) pitched a perfect top half of the ninth for the win.

FLORIDA STATE LEAGUE (A)

Bradenton 6, Clearwater 4: Seranthony Dominguez gave up four runs (two earned) in 3.1 innings in his first action since injuring his shoulder in mid-May.
Dominguez threw 77 pitches, walkied four and struck out four.

1B Zach Green hit a two-run homer for the Threshers.

SOUTH ATLANTIC LEAGUE (A)

Rome 3, Lakewood 2: Felix Paulino (2-7, 5.14 ERA) gave up three runs in six innings (all in the second) for the loss. 1B Darick Hall knocked in a run for his league-best 71st RBI.

Adonis Medina (3-6) will start for Lakewood on Saturday at Charleston.

NEW YORK-PENN LEAGUE (A)

Williamsport 5, Batavia 2: C Colby Fitch went 2-for-4 and hit his second homer of the season.
Fitch, a 13th-round pick out of Louisville in June, is 13-for-26 (.500) and has started his pro career with hits in all eight games. He's had multiple hits in four of the last five.
