Dan Gross: Boreanaz a big Flyer fan

'I'M ORANGE and black all the way," David Boreanaz said last night en route to the Flyers game.

The "Bones" star and Malvern Prep alum was sorry he didn't get to attend any of the playoff action last year, but he starts work on a film Friday in Connecticut and came to town early to see his family and catch the first two games.

Boreanaz and his hockey-nut father, retired "Action News" weatherman Dave Roberts, sat in Mike Richards' box, along with Boreanaz's wife, Jamie Bergman, in a Flyers shirt; their son, Jaden, 9, who wore a Danny Briere shirt; and 20-month-old daughter, Bella, in a Dan Carcillo tee.

Boreanaz, who regularly plays ice hockey in Los Angeles, as does his son, says the Flyers "can't let Boston crash our crease." He and Roberts were both honored over the weekend at the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters awards in Hershey.

"Bones" just wrapped for the season, and he's looking forward to "Officer Down," on which he starts Friday. He plays a detective in the film, alongside James Woods and Stephen Dorff.

Tony Luke cooks up Flyers bet

 Sandwich mogul Tony Luke Jr. has entered into an NHL playoff bet with the owner of Boston's All Star Sandwich Bar. When the Flyers win, Kosta Diamantopoulos will come to Philadelphia, wear a Flyers jersey and eat a Tony Luke's steak outside his Front & Oregon shop. If the Bruins win, Tony Luke will wear a Bruins jersey and gobble an Atomic Meatloaf Meltdown before Bruins fans outside the All Star.

Court for Canseco/Feldman

We have a feeling Jose Canseco will not turn up, but there is a May 18 court date in Broomall for the former bad boy of boxing to appear to defend a small-claims-court suit brought by Celebrity Boxing Federation promoter Damon Feldman.

Feldman sued Canseco for $7,500 after Canseco pulled the old switcheroo, sending his twin brother, Ozzie, to a recent bout in Florida in his place. Feldman is seeking to recoup fees and travel costs he paid Jose Canseco in advance of the fight, which never occurred. Also, Feldman wants Canseco to answer questions as to whether it was him or Ozzie who previously fought three times in the Philadelphia area, including once against NBC10's Vai Sikahema. Canseco did not return a voice mail we left yesterday.

Charitably minded

 We don't know how many homeless men wear size 17 shoes, but it was certainly a nice gesture that Sixers center Spencer Hawes recently donated lots of suits, jeans, shirts and shoes to a shelter run by the Mt. Airy Baptist Church of God in Christ (6401 Ogontz). Hawes enlisted limo-driver-to-the-stars Big Penny to take the clothes to the shelter and also to take him to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for his last team meeting Thursday. Now a free agent, Hawes, a Sacramento King before joining the Sixers, was having his own rides, a Mercedes and a Range Rover, sent back to his home in Washington state.

* Phillies ace Cliff Lee, wife Kristen and

their son, Jaxson, hung out with 25 beneficiaries of CADEKids, an organization that helps kids through school and community-based activities, before the marathon game Sunday night against the Mets. The kids talked with the family and watched batting practice. CADEKids and Lee formed K's for the Kids, in which Holman Auto of South Jersey donates $150 for every batter Lee strikes out. Holman has donated $6,600 for 44 K's so far.

'Daddy's Girl' at Spa East

 Angela Simmons, star of VH1's "Daddy's Girls," and daughter of RUN-DMC's Rev. Joseph "Run" Simmons, stopped at Spa East in Liberties Walk the other night for a manicure and pedicure and happily tweeted pictures of the results.

Local guy voices Bugs, Daffy

 Locally raised Jeff Bergman is the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck on "The Looney Tunes Show" premiering on Cartoon Network at 8 tonight. He's also the brother of former longtime 94 WYSP host Lawrence "Huggy" Bergman.

'SportsCenter' score for Temple

Phoenixville native/ESPN anchor Kevin Negandhi will co-host the live morning "SportsCenter" for the rest of the year, replacing Josh Elliott, who left ESPN for ABC's "Good Morning America." Negandhi, a Temple grad, joined ESPN in 2006.
