Philadelphia rockers The War On Drugs have at long last announced their follow-up album to 2014’s acclaimed Lost In The Dream. The new one is called A Deeper Understanding. The Adam Granduciel-led outfit’s debut for Atlantic Records comes out August 25th.

The band plays the second date of its 2017 world tour at the Dell Music Center on Sept. 21. (They’re opening out of town in Portland, Me. on Sept. 18.) Previously the band released an 11 minute opus called “Thinking Of A Place,” but the newly released lead single is “Holding On.” Hear it below. The War On Drugs play Late Night with Stephen Colbert on Monday.
