Since then she's seen more than 12,000 films without losing her love of movies -- or wordplay. But don't envy her job too much. She has to sit through the likes of Battlefield Earth just so she can warn you not to.

It figures that Julie Taymor, theater magician of The Lion King, film conjurer of Across the Universe, Shakespeare interpreter who made her movie debut with Titus, would be drawn to The Tempest, the one about the sorcerer who unsettles the seas before settling scores.
It's game on - and off-the-wall - in TRON: Legacy, the follow-up to the 1982 film that explored the inner life of video games and was way ahead of its time.
