Broad Street Billy: Dread-ing the Dodgers?

Dissing Manny in L.A., kissing cards in Phila.

Those two incredible Rumbles in the Rockies prove beyond a reasonable doubt that all your "May the Phorce Be With You!" Phillies-grams can move mountains, restore Brad Lidge's mojo and get us one step closer to The Parade.

So keep sending those personal stories and photos to me at: Phillies@phillynews.com - and together we'll smack Manny's fanny like this phanatic father and daughter did last summer:

PHANS DISS MANNYWOOD: Quakertown Phillie-phans Kevin Sica and his daughter Morgan, 9, went to a Dodgers game in L.A. last summer, bought Manny Ramirez Dreadlocks Wigs and scrawled "Cheater" across the Dodger-blue skullcaps.

Then they flaunted the desecrated dreads in Mannywood - the left field seats that border the stomping grounds of the Dodger who was suspended for 50 games after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance.

Sica, who wore his Pete Rose retro Phillies jersey, called his father/daughter Dodger-diss "good parenting."

"I did get a couple of hecklers," Sica said, "but I just asked them if Matt Stairs' 2008 game-winning playoff home run had come down yet."

He said that he plans to wear the defiled dreads when the Phils return home for Sunday's battle with the Dodgers.

RITUAL PHILLIES KISSES: Chris Chapin, of Newark, Del., plans to put the whammy on the Dodgers with the same game-day rituals that helped the Phils win last year - drinking from water bottles he bought at the 2008 National League East clincher and keeps refilling, and eating home-cooked Phillies Franks off game-used wrappers he saved from that clincher.

As each Phillie comes up to bat, Chapin kisses that player's baseball card. "Crazy enough for you?" Chapin asked Broad Street Billy. "Hey, they won, didn't they?"

Chapin had his kissin' cards next to his heart when he and his son Evan, 15, attended the World Champions parade down Broad Street.

He kissed, gulped and chomped his way through the Rockies series, and now: "I have my special water bottles chilled and a fresh package of Phillies Franks," he told Billy. "Bring on the Dodgers!"
