 TAMRON HALL is making history.

The Temple journalism grad is now the first black woman to co-anchor the "Today" show. Hall will join Al Roker, Natalie Morales and Willie Geist in the show's 9 a.m. hour.

Hall is no stranger to her new co-workers. She often filled in as another panelist.

In 2010, Hall received Temple's Lew Klein Alumni in the Media Award.

* In other Philly news alumni goings-on, former Fox 29 traffic reporter Jamie Shupak got married to CNN's "Reliable Sources" host Brian Stelter at the Sheraton Society Hill this weekend. I hear that every guest needed to sign a waiver because they were being filmed. Could it be the start of "Keeping Up with the Stelters"?

Foles engaged

Eagles QB Nick Foles popped the question to longtime girlfriend Tori Moore. The couple met at the University of Arizona. Moore is an athlete herself, a former college volleyball player. Fun fact: The blog Bleeding Green Nation reports that Moore's brother is former Eagles tight end Evan Moore.

Premature 'Labor'

I've been hearing rumors that the M. Night Shyamalan/Bruce Willis flick "Labor of Love," featuring Willis as a widowed bookshop owner on a cross-country walk, has already started filming. Not true, folks. Greater Philadelphia Film Office executive director Sharon Pinkenson says it won't start shooting in the area before the summer.

Twins for Taff

Congrats to 6ABC's Brian Taff, who announced that he and his wife, Mara, are expecting twins in the summer. Mara is also a 6ABC staffer, although she's in the Creative Services Department.

Taff joins the rest of the 6ABC baby train that has been rolling as of late. Ducis Rodgers welcomed his second son right after the new year, Alicia Vitarelli gave birth to her first child last month, and Nydia Han and Jamie Apody are both expecting their second child.

Taff co-anchors the 4 p.m. broadcast and has been with the station since 2009.

OUT AND ABOUT

* Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani stopped by Geno's Steaks (1219 S 9th St.), ordering up an American wit' from the South Philly landmark.

Terrell Owens stopped by Del Frisco's (1426-28 Chestnut St.) on Thursday after getting roasted during Joe Conklin's inaugural Philly Sports Roast at the Crystal Tea Room. The steak house became the unofficial after-party for the roast, also featuring our own Stu Bykofsky on the mic, with about 40 people joining Owens.

Speaking of Del Frisco's, I hear former Sexy Single Carmen Tedesco just became the general manager.

* "Dancing with the Stars" star Louis van Amstel stopped by the South Street Headhouse District's Society Hill Dance Academy (409 S. 2nd St.) to promote his LaBlast Fitness program. Van Amstel should be used to a little bit of Philadelphia thrown his way: Kendra Wilkinson, wife of ex-Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett, was his partner on the 12th season of the ABC dancing juggernaut.

Get 'Glam' for good

The Hotel Palomar will host Glamsino Royale, a fundraiser for ActionAIDS, on Thursday. Two floors of the hotel will get glammed out for the event. Viktor Luna of "Project Runway" will also be on hand to speak about being HIV positive.

To purchase the $50 tickets, head to actionaids.org/Glamsinotickets.
