Summers returns to Food Network; Boreanaz in town

TV PERSONALITY Marc Summers, who calls Philly his part-time home, will be back on the Food Network, with a former NSync-er in tow. Yesterday, Summers tweeted about the first day of production on a new show called "Rewrapped."

He tweeted out a picture of himself with boy-bander-turned-TV-personality Joey Fatone, formerly of NSync.

Calls to Summers' production company, which has offices in Philadelphia, were not returned. A rep from the Food Network said all details of the show had to be kept under wraps (pun totally intended) until the show was officially announced. One of Summers' biggest TV hits was "Unwrapped," a behind-the-scenes show about how some of our favorite food confections are made.

Loyal readers will remember that I reported that "Bones" star and Malvern Prep grad David Boreanaz will be in town this weekend as co-chair of the Flyers Wives Carnival.

The carnival will take place Sunday at the Wells Fargo Center (tickets are available at FlyersCarnival.com, by calling 1-800-298-4200 or through the Wells Fargo Center box office). The son of beloved 6ABC weatherman Dave Roberts will also hit up the Broad Street Bash on Saturday at Xfinity Live.

Another highlight of the carnival: Longtime vice president of public relations Ike Richman will celebrate his 25th year with Comcast-Spectacor with an hour in the dunk tank.

Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on the megapopular HBO fantasy hit "Game of Thrones," will be in town on Monday to promote his new flick, "Pompeii," out Feb. 21. Joining Harington is fellow star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Eko from "Lost").

Catch the People Paper's own superstars Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker as they discuss their Pulitzer Prize-winning series and the newspaper industry in the documentary "Black & White and Dead All Over" at the Prince Music Theater (1412 Chestnut St.) at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Larry Mendte and Dawn Stensland are first-time grandparents with the birth of Emeline Lorraine Grugeon, born midblizzard Tuesday at Mother-Baby Center at Lankenau Medical Center to Mendte's daughter Stacia and husband Justin Grugeon.

"They will call her Emmy. Dawn and I have many Emmys but this is by far my the best one ever," Mendte emailed me.

Philadelphia Soul football co-owner and talent manager Cosmo DeNicola was seen rubbing shoulders with the likes of Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Slattery (who directed a film adaptation of former Daily News' columnist Pete Dexter's "God's Pocket") at this year's Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Chef Kevin Sbraga, who won the seventh season of "Top Chef" and recently opened up Fat Ham (3131 Walnut St.), reportedly cooked up a storm at Sundance, teaming up with "Top Chef" finalist Angelo Sosa for a mouthwatering meal for the Chef Dance.
