Sideshow: Splitsville for Duff and Comrie

The courtship began in '07, the wedding was Aug. 14, '10, and their bairn was born March 20, '12. Those moments are but dead memories now for Hilary Duff and NHL player Mike Comrie, who on Friday announced they are separating in what has been termed an amicable, even loving, decision.

"Mike and I are sitting here," Duff tweeted around 4 p.m., "we are so appreciative for all of your kindness & well wishes. Not an easy day but we're getting thru it together."

The couple remain committed to co-parent their 21-month-old son, Luca Cruz, Duff's rep tells People mag.
