Justin Bieber, 18, has finally spoken out about his breakup with Selena Gomez, the biggest love upset since Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake broke the planet's heart 11 years ago.
"I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been," Justin tells Billboard. "I'm trying to get through what I'm going through. . . . I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going." The "Boyfriend" singer says his pain is compounded by the media's endless speculation.
"There's so many rumors. People say I call Selena every day and she won't pick up the phone or I'm chasing her down, and these are all fake stories," he says. Justin, who wrote the song "Nothing Like Us" about his breakup, says that like every teen, he's going through a learning process. "When you are 18, you're going through that transition," he says. "Figuring yourself out."
Ben Affleck's man-crush: Brad Pitt
"I love Brad Pitt. I think he's amazing." A quote from Pitt consort Angelina Jolie? A tweet from an overexcited female fan?
Nope. That's Ben Affleck speaking.
Ben, 40, on Sunday told Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson at the SAG Awards that he loves his fellow A-list thesp - and not just for his acting.
"I love the way he looks. I'm not going to lie! I think he's awesome," said Ben. "If I could be somebody, it'd definitely be Brad Pitt." Ben was accompanied at the awards gala by his wife, Jennifer Garner.
He didn't share how Garner felt about his Brad-enthusiasm.
The Lawrence wardrobe issue
Gossipers were a-twitter Sunday at the SAG Awards when Hunger Games heroine Jennifer Lawrence, 22, seemed to suffer an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction: Her dress seemed to come apart at the seams as she headed onstage to accept the best-actress prize for Silver Linings Playbook. It did, some admitted, make her look very hot.
It was supposed to look that way, you bozos! So says a rep of its maker, Christian Dior Couture. "The dress is made with different levels of tulle and satin," says the rep, explaining that it was supposed to swirl and swing with J-Law's movements. "It was not ripped, and there was no malfunction." Take that, ye frothy-mouthed fashion Philistines!

But not because of her head injury: Seems Babs has a case of chicken pox. . . . It's no secret Taylor Swift, 23, has asserted her sexier side lately, especially in the racier songs in her LP, Red. But is her new look due to her attitude or to enhanced, bionic body parts? Fox News says people are saying Swift has been outfitted with breast implants. Taylor has denied similar reports in the past. . . . Private Practice star Taye Diggs, 42, made a citizen's arrest Sunday when he and wife Idina Menzel found a man rummaging through their garage.
