DIDDY

get dumped?

Kicked to the curb?

Given the boot?

Told to amscray?

Ex-girlfriend Kim Porter says yup.

"After 10 years, I have decided to end my on-again/off-again relationship with Sean 'Diddy' Combs," Porter said in a statement Wednesday to "The Insider."

"In ending this relationship, I made a decision that was in the best interest of myself, Sean and our family. I look forward to moving on with my life and my career, and wish him prosperity, health and happiness in life and in love. We will remain friends and committed parents to our children."

Those children are 9-year-old Christian and 6-month-old twin daughters, D'Lila Star and Jessie James.

* While Diddy may be back on the market, there are plenty of available women, because Charlie Sheen ("Two and a Half Men") is settling down.

He's engaged to Brooke Mueller, a real estate investor, his spokesman, Stan Rosenfield, said yesterday.

Sheen, 41, reportedly proposed to Mueller, 29, during a recent trip to Costa Rica. The couple met in April 2006.

Sheen has two daughters, Sam, 3, and Lola, 2, from his marriage to Denise Richards. They divorced last year.

* Possibly no longer checking match.com profiles are Meg Ryan and Matthew Perry, who have been linked by Us Weekly.

Meg has a son from her marriage to Dennis Quaid. Matthew, who shares Tattle's birthday, has many rumored ex-girlfriends.

At least it's not 'Dogs Gone Wild'

There may be some skanks in "Girls Gone Wild" videos, but there ain't no dogs.

To rectify that, Girls Gone Wild has teamed with the Humane Society of Bay County (Fla.) to have dogs walk the catwalk in a pet-inspired fashion show aiming to raise money and public awareness and place puppies in loving homes.

GGW has also teamed with animal activist Ashley Paige to launch the Ashley Paige for Girls Gone Wild swimwear line.

Huh? Maybe to save time the GGW suits just have no tops.

We sing the car body electric

Rob Lowe ("Brothers & Sisters") appeared before Congress yesterday pushing tax credits for people who add a plug-in feature to hybrid cars and trucks.

He testified before a special House panel looking at energy issues. Later, he appeared at a demonstration featuring a Toyota Prius that had been converted to a plug-in hybrid.

"The first money I ever made and was able to invest, I invested in an alternative energy company going back 25 years," Lowe said. "Like a lot of Americans, I've been watching as the climate changes and as we are in a war on terror where our oil addiction helps fund people that want to kill us. It's gotten my attention."

One of these days, U.S. automakers may catch on - as well as the legislators in their hip pocket, too chicken to enact meaningful mileage requirements.

* Our Monday comic books column has previously mentioned the print and TV adventures of "Painkiller Jane." Fans of "Jane" should be sure to tune in to tonight's episode on Sci Fi at 10, because it's directed by "Jane" co-creator Jimmy Palmiotti.

* Once the Bible goes black, will it ever go back?

Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker is going to voice Moses in "Inspired By . . . The Bible Experience: Old Testament."

The audio Bible, to be released in November on 72 CDs and iTunes (will you be able to download it one plague at a time?), stars an all-black cast of more than 200 actors - including Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett and Cuba Gooding Jr. (the upcoming "Daddy Day Camp") - singers and clergy set to an original musical score performed by the Prague Symphony Orchestra.

We're guessing most of them are not black.

And yes, that's 72 CDs.

Perfect for a 40-day car trip through the desert. *
