Car enthusiasts can take fascinating strolls through automotive history by visiting any one of scores of great automobile museums, not only here in North America, but in such far flung locales as Tokyo, Stuttgart and Brescia, Italy.
These four U.S. automobile museums rank in the top ten globally, according to Edmunds, the Santa Monica, Calif., automotive pricing and information company.

National Corvette Museum, Bowling Green, Ky. (4)
Spotlights the best years' models in the same town that has produced all Corvettes since 1961.
