Instructional Drum Circle With Joe Tayoun
Joseph Tayoun, internationally acclaimed Middle Eastern percussionist, will teach these classes. The weekly sessions include instruction of rhythms, technique, and a drum circle jam in the inspiring setting of the Museum's Egypt (Sphinx) gallery. Experience the meditative, spiritual, and musical awakenings that can be facilitated through drumming. A limited number of drums are provided; drummers are encouraged to bring their own drums. Dancers are welcome.
