'We the People' is a mosaic created by Philadelphia artist Jonathan Mandell. The 10 ft. by 6 ft. mosaic features a constitutional theme and was made using various semiprecious stones and minerals. The imagery of the mosaic features the Preamble of the Constitution; the three branches of government, which are set behind mirror so that onlookers can see themselves reflected in government; and a montage of images highlighting the rites of democracy, as well as individuals who advanced the cause of constitutional rights.
