Movements for Change: An Event in Honor of Kiyoshi Kuromiya

This unique event addresses the intersection of activist movements that Kiyoshi Kuromiya fought for: civil rights, HIV activism, drug policy reform, indigenous people’s rights, LGBTQ rights, Internet access and Freedom of Information, and more. This year, the event will focus on the immigration movements happening both nationally and locally. Panelists will include Erika Almiron, Executive Director of Juntos and Fernando Chang-Muy M.A., J.D., the Thomas O’Boyle Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
