For the fifth year in a row, Philly.com will partner with the research firm WorkplaceDynamics, of Exton, to find the region's best small, midsize and large companies - from the workers' perspective.

Any organization with 50 or more employees - private, public, nonprofit, or government - in the region is eligible to participate. Firms based elsewhere that have a major area presence are also invited.

Top Workplaces can be nominated by employees, organization leaders or customers. To nominate a company or organization, click here or call (484) 323-6270 by Oct. 11.

Each nominated workplace will be evaluated by their employees using a short, 22 statement survey from September to November. The winners will be announced next year. To see the 2013 Top Workplaces, click here.

Last year's top winners were real estate firm Keller Williams, health services company Accolade and the Cherry Hill Autos Volvo dealership. Those selections were made after 154 firms with a total of 75,480 local employees were surveyed by WorkplaceDynamics.

Employees are promised anonymity in exchange for their frank responses. A selection of what they had to say about each small, midsize and large organization is posted online.

New this year: Companies with more than 1,000 employees nationwide may be considered for a National Top Workplaces program. WorkplaceDynamics conducts Top Workplaces surveys with more than 35 major metro newspapers and surveyed more than 1.7 million employees in 2012.
