Top Workplaces

Top Workplaces 2015 is an effort to discover the best employers in the Philadelphia region - as decided by each company's employees. More than 35,000 were surveyed by WorkplaceDynamics of Exton. Here are their findings for best large, midsize and small companies, including firms based elsewhere that have a major area presence.

One of 18 companies to make the Top Workplaces Top 100 list all six years, PwC this year earned the top spot, and also won a special award for “Clued-in Senior Management -- Senior managers understand what is really happening at this company.”

Power Home Remodeling Group invited all its 1,350 employees to a resort in Cancun, Mexico. Medical Solutions Supplier’s employees’ submissions won the company an award for meaningfulness. Both won top spots in their size group.

Doug Yearley, CEO at Toll Brothers, won the Leadership award among large companies. Other leadership winners are Warren Chaiken at Almo and Paul Black at Comm Solutions Co.

Employees are motivated to make their jobs easier, more efficient and productive - so never lose the key to the Suggestion Box.

Horsham is home to Toll Brothers, Kreischer Miller, SofterWare, and Dudnyk and Reed as well. What’s more, eight other top workplaces have locations in Horsham.

Employees’ survey responses as to what made RevZilla a great place to work highlighted a real feeling of community at “TeamZilla.” A large part of that ambiance is evident in the company’s headquarters, with fun and even zany touches.

The blood, sweat and tears of the summer of 2008 wasn’t just a challenge for the company and its employees. The heat also forged an ethos that every employee has some skin in the game at Philly's Yards Brewery.
