Equipment shortages caused widespread delays and overcrowding during Wednesday morning’s rush hour on the PATCO High Speed Line.
The commuter line said it was instituting an emergency schedule after a very rocky morning rush hour.
We apologize for the inconvenience this morning. Cancellations and delays were due to equipment issues. An emergency schedule will be in place today with trains running every 15 mins from 9:15am-2:00pm. Additional details to follow.

PATCO said the problems with the trains were related to the cold weather.
Ice and snow have caused problems for PATCO train motors in the past.
