American Airlines said its Philadelphia flight to Brussels will not resume until Wednesday March 30 with the first return flight from Brussels on Thursday March 31.

American, which operates a hub and 76 percent of the flights at Philadelphia International Airport, issued an update and said flight plans are "subject to change, pending direction from Brussels Airport and the appropriate authorities."
Customers booked on cancelled flights are being re-routed through other airports in the region, the airline said.
Customers booked for travel March 22 through April 3 may select an alternate airport or reschedule travel through the expiration date of the ticket, usually one year from date of issue
