Bankers and publican traded companies all protected by the private Central Bankers and Mr. Ben Bernanke...who 'da thunk it.

BTW ironically most, if not all, contribute massive amounts to Democrats. Sounds like the Warden is being paid off by the locals to keep the prisoners "in-line" if you ask me.

Wake up people... RINOs and Democrats are all the Wardens keeping the allusion alive that you are in control of your fate.

I hope you expend a little more effort into your academic pursuits than you do your philly.com comment board research. There is more than enough $$$ heading from these comp packages into Republican and convervative coffers as well.

Idiotic post, except for Roberts from Comcast, none of these other companies are actually headquartered here - no wonder the Business section is so lame

It is pretty silly. Although, I believe PhotoMedex is headquartered in Montgomeryvill, PA.

I agree. Ridiculously misleading title. Roberts though is a major supporter of the Democrats...Imagine that...hypocrites.

#1 Do you know how to read? Top of the article states CEO's from the 10 county area surrounding Phila, that are EITHER located there or have major operations in those 10 counties
#2 Do get out much? I pass 1/2 of those companies on a regular basis.

Yes, despite tea party protestations, it still appears that being an old, white dude in America is beneficial.

Hey Bob. The Tea Party isn't presenting any reason why any other person cannot achieve these lofty goals.

fact, they want to remove the social gubberment barriers that cause people to stop reaching for the brass ring and become dependents of the state instead.

Almost none of these guys live or work in the Philadelphia area!

What is the point of this inane feature? Did an unsupervised intern put this together? Is this section even edited anymore?

The same guys who say they can't afford to raise the minimum wage. Or have a pension plan.

But let's keep talking about union "thugs".

The title of this story is highly misleading. Not all these executives are FROM Philly. They merely manage companies that have a presence here.

Why not post the highest earners in the Philadelphia area who are paid with taxpayers dollars? These people work in the private sector and their incomes are based on corporate profits. Owning stock in any of these companies has turned out to be a good investment.

.."Almost none of these guys live or work in the Philadelphia area!"

Why would they with the mentality below running philly into the ground-

"Yes, despite tea party protestations, it still appears that being an old, white dude in America is beneficial. — bobcitydoc"
