If you think that the fiscal cliff is about wealthy investors and their tax breaks, you would be wrong.
CNN reminds us that one of the cliff components is the Budget Control Act, which automatically cuts numerous government budgets to the tune of $1.2 trillion. That would include Medicare, medical research, food safety inspectors, but always would affect medical research programs, CNN says.
