Samsung's Android-powered camera includes built-in wireless - Reuters

While it probably won't keep leaders of Nikon and Canon awake at night, Samsung hopes to leverage its strength of the Galaxy brand.

Among its latest digital camera is known as the Galaxy and is powered by the Android operating system that is used in smartphones and tablets. As Reuters points out, it's not the first digital camera to run on Android. Samsung's camera allows users to quickly post photos to social media through the camera's built-in wireless connection.

It's yet another step in technology aimed at making our lives more instant and shared.
