Learning from small business failures - CNBC


Not everyone succeeds in business the first time around, and sometimes the lessons learned provide invaluable knowledge.

An article on provides some examples of businesses that didn't work. More importantly, the owners said the failure of those ventures helped shape their strategy as they launched new businesses. Among the most important lessons: They no longer had a fear of failing, and they were able to make tough decisions.
