Small businesses will be able to pitch to a panel of potential funders Wednesday night in an inaugural start-up conference in Camden called Waterfront Ventures.
The event, which also will feature a talk by Nick Bayer, founder and CEO of Saxbys Coffee, will run from 5 pm to 10:30 p.m. at the Waterfront Technology Center, 200 Federal Street. General admission tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. College and high school students can get in for free.
To register and pre-qualify for the pitching session, go to www.waterfrontventures.co. Pitches must be under 10 minutes. Judges will question presenter and provide feedback on their ideas.
