Consumer Reports: Only 11 percent favor Comcast/TWC merger

Only 11 percent of Americans favor the proposed merger of Comcast Corp. and Time Warner Cable Inc., while 56 percent oppose it, according to an online survey by Consumer Reports. Thirty-two percent had no opinion. The national survey was based on the opinions of 1,573 respondents. Time Warner Cable and Comcast, the nation's largest and second-largest cable companies, consistently garner low customer satisfaction ratings.
