'Rebuild' opportunities for small business

The City of Philadelphia is looking for small, local businesses interested in working on Rebuild projects, a $500 million investment in neighborhood parks, recreation centers, and libraries to encourage greater use of such public spaces.

The first in a series of contractor information sessions planned for the fall will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Samuels Recreation Center, 3539 Gaul St., Philadelphia. No RSVP is necessary. Doors open at 5:30. Light snacks will be provided.
