Center City 7-Eleven employee robbed of $30,000
A 7-Eleven employee collecting money to be deposited from the store at Ninth and Market Streets downtown late Wednesday was robbed at gunpoint of about $30,000, according to investigators.
An employee collecting money deposits from the 7-Eleven at Ninth and Market Streets in Center City late Wednesday was robbed at gunpoint of about $30,000, according to investigators.
The robbery occurred about 10:25 p.m. as the employee was leaving the store with the deposits. Police said he turned over the money to the robber, and police said the gunman then fled the scene.
No one was injured, and police are looking for suspects
