A rare Queen Village mansion eludes redevelopment, will remain a home

Despite Queen Village's heightened attractiveness in recent years, the rare estate-like property at 113-21 Bainbridge Street, owned by Philadelphia's Steen family, could not sell three years ago. But when it was put on the auction block earlier this year, it drew interest from developers, builders, and residents alike.
