On The Market: Tech-loaded Graduate Hospital home for just under $1M

When Jeff Angelucci and his wife were on the lookout for property in 2013, two things attracted them to the home they eventually bought on Fitzwater Street: positive market conditions and the ability to tailor the property to their specifications.

"We saw a tremendous growth potential with Graduate Hospital," Angelucci said. "Additionally, the opportunity of being able to semi-custom build a home was alluring to us."

The couple was able to adapt the home to their needs. That included built-in organization systems throughout closets in the four bedrooms, as well as tech upgrades including alarm keypads, a video intercom system and built-in speakers throughout the home.

"It was new construction, so not too much to do other than adding crown molding and finishing touches," Angelucci said.

The 3,500-square-foot home features a large master suite, which Angelucci said is his favorite part of the home, especially the en-suite bathroom.

"It was extremely spacious and comfortable," he said. "It even had a TV in it.

In addition to the electronics, the master bath includes dual vanities, a large linen closet and a frameless shower with multiple spray jets. The master bedroom boasts coffered ceilings and a large walk-in closet of its own in addition to access to a private balcony.

Downstairs, a gourmet kitchen features Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances along with granite countertops that Angelucci said are likely to appeal to new buyers.

"The finishes were all high-end," he said.

Outside, the home includes a large garden bed as well as a rear patio. The home also includes two-car garage parking via lift system.

"Parking and being as close to Rittenhouse Square was also extremely important to us," Angelucci said.

The family enjoyed their time in Graduate Hospital, with its proximity to amenities within walking distance.

"We love to go out and eat, and we could walk to most of our favorite restaurants," Angelucci said.

After a new addition to their family (they had twin boys and his wife has since had another baby boy), he said they have decided it's time to sell.

"The neighborhood grew in a positive direction the three years we were there," he said.

The property is listed with Keller Williams' Skye Michiels for $924,000.
