Philadelphia's most expensive rentals: What you can get for $15,000 a month

112 Sansom St., which rents for $8,500 a month.

Winter and early spring have been kind to renters in the region. With all the talking about dips in monthly rental rates, we were curious to see what the other end of the rental market looked like. These three properties are among the most expensive rentals on the market in the city.

112 Sansom St.
Monthly rent: $8,500
Tell me all about it: This Society Hill home features five bedrooms, five bathrooms and two powder rooms stretched over about 6,000 square feet. The property boasts a roof deck (we especially love the wet bar in the pilot house and the fact that it’s elevator-accessible) and a basement media room. The home also comes with an automation system, a video intercom, and security.

500 Walnut St., Unit 1002
Monthly rent: $12,500
Tell me all about it: This property is new enough that the only images available are renderings, but they are enticing enough. This three-bedroom unit at 500 Walnut boasts 3,300 square feet of living space, the crown jewel of which is a master suite that leads to a balcony overlooking Independence Hall. Tough to find a better view in town than that. The building also includes access to fitness center, yoga terrace, massage room, lap pool and hot tub. Other concierge services include 24/7 Town Car driver service and two robotic parking spaces.

1531 Spruce St.
Monthly rent: $15,000
Tell me all about it: This townhouse boasts 5,440 square feet and five bedrooms. It also combines the amenities of living in a multiple-unit building (desk service, maintenance, gym facilities) with the privacy of a single home by offering services via the apartment building across the street. This property boasts a beautiful patio, as well as a roof deck, has nine fireplaces, and comes with one parking space.
