Brandywine in deal to sell former postal building near 30th St. Station

Brandywine Realty Trust is under agreement to sell the former post office facility near 30th Street Station that now serves as the Internal Revenue Service's local offices.

The company is selling the 862,700 square foot building, now known as Cira Square, for $389 million, it said in a release on Wednesday.

The deal is expected to close during the first half of the first quarter of 2016, it said. No buyer was disclosed.
