Union protests bank in newspapers' bankruptcy filing

FOUR MEMBERS of Teamsters Local 1414, involved with the distribution of the Philadelphia Daily News and Inquirer, protested yesterday outside a Citizens Bank branch at 20th and Market. Citizens Bank is one of the creditors owed money by Philadelphia Newspapers, which declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week and is in the process of renegotiating its debts.
