Public Health Management Corp. has quashed a bid by its subsidiary, the National Nurse-led Care Consortium, to regain its independence.
PHMC, which is based in Center City and offers a wide range of health and social services, said Wednesday that it had received the requested resignations of the NNCC board. On Friday, the NNCC dropped a lawsuit that it filed in a bid to separate from PHMC.
“NNCC remains a wholly controlled subsidiary of PHMC, and a key part of PHMC’s family of programs and subsidiaries. PHMC is committed to a positive and productive future for PHMC and NNCC employees, partners, and funders,” PHMC said in a statement.
