Reed Smith opens Miami office to grow its Latin American business

Reed Smith, the Pittsburgh-founded law firm with a large presence in Philadelphia, announced the opening of a Miami office Tuesday with the addition of seven lawyers focusing on international arbitration and litigation. Sandy Thomas, the firm's global managing partner, said the new contingent of lawyers and an office in Miami will give the firm additional access to legal work in Latin America, where many of the firm's clients have business. The new lawyers, from the firm of Astigarraga Davis, join a team of 50 lawyers at Reed Smith focused on Latin America.
