The 1996 Honda Accord is one of the most stolen cars in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Older models of the Honda Accord and Honda Civic are the most-stolen cars in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, according to a new report.

A report released this week by the National Insurance Crime Bureau listed the 1996 Honda Accord as the most-stolen car in both states, followed by the 1998 Honda Civic.

Accords and Civics were also the two most-stolen cars nationwide, according to the report, which used data submitted by law-enforcement agencies to the National Crime Information Center.

A total of 53,995 Honda Accords were reported stolen across the country in 2013, while 45,001 Civics were taken.

For 2013 models, the report said the Nissan Altima, Ford Fusion and full-size Ford pickup were the most-stolen cars nationwide.
