Frankford Hospital, an institution in the city for over a century, is changing its name.

In a news release this morning, the hospital said it will literally unveil its new moniker during a ceremony at its Torresdale Campus on Monday.

But here’s a hint: “The new name reflects the fresh regional vision Frankford Hospital has for its health care system, as it continues to expand both clinical programs and service area.”

Frankford Hospital operates two acute care facililties in Northeast Philadelphia and one in Langhorne, Bucks County.
