New CEO for Crozer-Keystone

Patrick Gavin will succeed Joan Richards as chief executive of Crozer-Keystone Health System on July 31, the Delaware County tax-exempt organization's new owner, Prospect Medical Holdings Inc., announced.

Patrick Gavin will succeed Joan Richards as chief executive of Crozer-Keystone Health System on July 31, the Delaware County tax-exempt organization's new owner, Prospect Medical Holdings Inc., announced.

Gavin, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Crozer-Keystone since 2012, joined the institution as president of Crozer-Chester Medical Center in 2010.

Richards has been Crozer-Keystone's CEO since 2007, and has worked for it since 1982, when she started there as director of nursing services.

Prospect, a for-profit based in Los Angeles, completed its purchase of Crozer on July 1.
