David Waxman of local developer MMPartners LLC has sold a 2,800-square-foot building at 24th and Sansom Streets for $3 million, according to Rittenhouse Realty Advisors, which brokered the sale.

Rittenhouse managing partner Ken Wellar, who declined to identify the buyer, said in an interview Tuesday that the sale of the building at 2330 Sansom St. closed on May 13.

The building, situated on a 5,500-square-foot lot, currently accommodates two residential units and a commercial space leased to Verizon Wireless, but could be redeveloped into a six-story condo property under its zoning, according to Rittenhouse's offering memo for the site.

Verizon's lease extends until the end of August 2018, with options to renew, according to Rittenhouse.
