New CEO for Langhorne's St. Mary Medical Center

St. Mary Medical Center, in Langhorne, named James L. Woodward chief executive, effective mid-July, the Bucks County organization said Monday.

Woodward succeeds Gregory Wozniak, who stepped down as CEO last October after leading St. Mary's for 16 years.

St. Mary is part of Trinity Health, which is based in Livonia, Mich. Trinity also owns Mercy Health System of Southeastern Pennsylvania, which is based in Conshohocken, and Lourdes Health System, based in Camden.

Woodward will come to St. Mary from Elliot Health System, in Manchester, N.H. Elliot had $509.7 million in revenue in the fiscal year ended June 30, 2015.

St. Mary was a bit larger, with $546 million in revenue during that period.
