Pa. Gov. Wolf appoints 48 to pipeline taskforce

Gov. Wolf on Tuesday appointed 48 members of the Pennsylvania Pipeline Infrastructure Taskforce, which will recommend policies, guidelines and best practices to influence the build-out of pipeline infrastructure across the state. Its report is due in February.

Fourteen state government officials were named to the panel, including its chairman, John Quigley, secretary of the state Department of Environmental Protection, and John Hanger, Wolf's secretary of policy and planning. Other members include representatives of local government, the Legislature, industry, environmental groups and consumers. Wolf also appointed 101 others to serve on work groups that will report to the task force.

Local appointees to the panel include Kathi Cozzone, Chester County commissioner; State Sen. Andrew Dinniman, (D., Chester); Anthony Gallagher, Steamfitters Local 420 of Philadelphia; Wayne Gardner, Downingtown, former Public Utility Commission member; Michael Gross, environmental practice leader of the Post & Schell, P.C., law firm; State Rep. William F. Keller, (D., Phila.); Joseph McGinn, Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P.; and Cristina Jorge Schwarz, Apex Companies L.L.C., of Malvern.
