Tammy Straub has been promoted to chief nursing officer at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, from assistant chief nursing officer.

Precyse, a Wayne and Alpharetta, Ga., provider of health-information management and performance management and technology, has promoted president Christopher A. Powell to chief executive officer and named him to the board. He succeeds company founder Jeffrey S. Levitt, who will assume the role of executive chairman.

Continuum Health Alliance, an ambulatory-care services company, has hired Roy T. Santarella as executive vice president and chief administrative officer and Susan M. DiBiase Lutz as senior vice president, sales, marketing and product development. Santarella held the same positions at West Penn Allegheny Health System. Lutz was an entrepreneur and the founder of several companies.

David B. Hutchinson has been hired as senior vice president of SBA lending at 1st Colonial Community Bank. He was vice president of SBA lending at Fulton Bank of New Jersey in Burlington County and was vice president of business development at First Bank.

Penn Medicine physician Gary W. Dorshimer has been named the official physician of the Philly Pops, where he will be available to apply basic principles to the care of some of the injuries and illnesses of the group's musicians. He is also head team physician for the Philadelphia Flyers and team internist for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia, a nonprofit organization providing four-year scholarships to kindergarten-eighth grade students from low-income Philadelphia families, hired Kathie Carr as business development manager. She was first vice president in office brokerage with CBRE.

Three professionals have joined the staff of the newly renamed Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board, the nonprofit organization devoted to spurring tourism throughout Montgomery County: Edward Harris, vice president of marketing and communications, had been a marketing director at eBay; Andrew Carl, sports sales manager, had been director of operations at the Pennsylvania Baseball Academy in Collegeville, and Zach Brown, online marketing/research manager, had been online-content specialist at Visit Bucks County.

Philadelphia law firm Dilworth Paxson L.L.P. has named former City Councilman Bill Green as special counsel. He will continue to serve as chairman of the Philadelphia School Reform Commission.

DLA Piper has promoted associate William Bartow to partner in the intellectual-property and technology practice and associate Matthew Goldberg to partner in the litigation and regulatory practice in its Philadelphia office.

LiquidHub, a Wayne-based digital integrator, has hired Stephen Racioppo as chief operating officer. He had been senior managing director at Accenture, leading the company's $1.2 billion consulting, technology and outsourcing business.

Citizens Bank, Philadelphia, has hired Josh Friedman as loan officer for the Home Lending Solutions mid-Atlantic division. He was a home-mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

Rothman Institute, Philadelphia, has hired Donald W. Mazur, a nationally recognized sports-medicine surgeon specializing in ACL repair and knee reconstruction, as a surgeon. He has practiced 16 years at Pennsylvania Orthopaedic's division of premier orthopaedics and previously served as assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phantoms.
