CeaseFirePA, a Philadelphia gun-violence prevention organization, elected the following board members:

Nick Certo, senior vice president, university and workplace banking, at PNC; Shawn Kraemer, a community volunteer; Phil Goldsmith, former city managing director, Philadelphia school board member and former CeaseFirePA board president; Jim Sayne, a retired senior systems architect at Unisys Corp.; Greg Davis, vice president at NFP Lincoln Benefits Group; Harriet Weiss, CEO of CRW Graphics, and Rick Bowes, a Philadelphia police officer.

Joseph J. McHale, a partner at Stradley Ronon, Philadelphia, has been appointed chair of the American Diabetes Association's Philadelphia Chapter Community Leadership Board. He is partner-in-charge of the firm's Malvern office.

Carl Chudnofsky, chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Einstein Healthcare Network, has been elected to the board of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Deborah A. Hays, a partner with law firm Archer & Greiner in Haddonfield, has been appointed to the board of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey.

Battelle Ventures general partner Tracy Warren has been named to the Springboard Enterprises Life Science Council, a global network of experts who serve as advisers to the women-led companies in the venture catalyst's accelerator pipeline.

Jerry Goldberg, a partner at Navigate, a management-consulting firm based in Wayne, has been named to the board of the Wilma Theater, Philadelphia.

Stradley Ronon, Philadelphia, said partners David H. Joseph and Michael D. O'Mara have been appointed to the firm's board of directors. Joseph chairs Stradley Ronon's business department; O'Mara chairs its litigation department.

Citadel, Exton, said Jessica Schuler, vice president of campus development at Sallie Mae, has joined its audit committee.

U.S. Sen. Bob Casey (D., Pa.) appointed Mariana Chilton, associate professor of public health at the Drexel University School of Public Health, to the National Commission on Hunger.

Kevin Kelly, president of Leon N. Weiner & Associates Inc., Wilmington, has been elected chairman of the National Association of Home Builders, a trade group.

The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association Educational Foundation, Harrisburg, elected Sherri A. Lee to a two-year term. Lee is a staff pharmacist with Grand View Hospital.

NBN Group, a Cherry Hill home-health-care company, named attorney John Hanamirian to its board. He is a co-founding shareholder of Hanamirian, Yellin & Kranjac P.C., Moorestown and New York.
