The long-planned expansion of the King of Prussia Mall is on track to start in late spring.

The Simon Property Group announced in November, 2011, that it planned an 140,000-square-foot expansion that would link the Plaza, where Neiman Marcus is located, with the Court, where Macy's and Bloomingdale's are housed. The estimated $150 million project would also include about 40 new retailers and several restaurants.

Robert Cattone, president of IMC Construction of Malvern, confirmed that his firm has been selected as general contractor and was currently bidding the project.
