Area manufacturer awarded a pollution-control contract
Met-Pro Corp. of Harleysville said today it won a $600,000 pollution-control contract for a major pharmaceutical company.

Met-Pro will supply a custom catalytic oxidation system, which will be shipped this summer. The system will control alcohol emissions.
The buyer was not identified.
Met-Pro makes industrial products for pollution control and fluid-handling. Its shares were up 17 cents to $10.94 on the New York Stock Exchange in noon trading.
