Gasoline prices down over the weekend

Unleaded regular gasoline prices fell by an average of one cent per gallon, to $2.92, over the weekend in the Philadelphia area, AAA Mid-Atlantic said today.

In South Jersey, where prices are lowest in the region, gasoline has fallen an average 6 cents in the past week, to $2.70 a gallon, the auto club said.

Today's statewide averages are: Pennsylvania, $2.87; New Jersey, $2.76; and Delaware, $2.79.
