North Bowl puts cannabis culture on display with ‘The Joint Show’ art show

Tonight in Northern Liberties, North Bowl will offer folks a chance to ponder pot art while bowling a few frames with “The Joint Show,” a cannabis culture-themed art show.

Kicking off tonight at 7 p.m. at North Bowl (909 N. 2nd St.), The Joint Show will display marijuana-influenced art from more than 30 local artists, including photographer and Marine Corps veteran Mike Whiter, graffiti artist Gloss Black, and glassblower Belf Glass, according to an events posting.

In addition to pot-laced art, the show will also feature beers from Lagunitas Brewing Co., as well as a chance to sample vaporized hops, which, according to the Marijuana Times, is a close relative of hemp.

If vaping isn’t your thing, North Bowl will also have local, hemp-made products to shop, as well as music from Brian Cassidy of Universal Cave DJs. Plus, the crew from Philly Smoke Session, which throws marijuana-themed parties, will be on hand to discuss their upcoming events.

More information about the show is available on North Bowl’s Facebook event page.
