Teleflex completes sale of division

Teleflex Inc. announced today that it had completed the sale of its Power Systems business to Fuel Systems Solutions Inc. of California.

The Limerick-based company, which makes devices for the medical and aerospace fields, had announced in July that the division, which makes alternative power systems, would be sold for $14.5 million cash.

Teleflex expects a resulting non-cash, non-tax deductible goodwill impairment charge of about $25 million.
