WPCS International Inc. of Exton said today that it acquired Lincoln Wind LLC of Bettendorf, Iowa, for $400,000.
Two-year-old Lincoln is an engineering company focusing on towers that measure the wind capacity of geographic areas before construction of a wind farm. Each tower is power by solar energy.
WPCS said Lincoln is projected to have revenue of about $2 million and earnings of $500,000 in the next 12 months.
WPCS is an engineering company serving the specialty communication systems and wireless infrastructure sectors. It earned $4.6 million on revenue of $70 million in fiscal 2007.
