NBC-News Corp. partnership Hulu.com's summer deal with Disney-ABC means the free online site, funded by ads from NBC owner GE and more than 200 other big companies, now shows most network TV content, notes CNBC here. Ceo Jason Kilar calls Hulu "a natural partner" for cable giants Comcast and TimeWarner; Hulu would like to carry their shows, password-protected for paying cable users. So where would that leave Comcast's homegrown Internet strategy?

    Comcast is not a nice company. The Tonner is not a fan.

    How many millions did Comcast shell out to create Fancast? Scores, perhaps. Maybe someone forgot to mention that the concept had already been done.
