Universal Health Services hiring 50, via Malvern job fair next week

A unit of Universal Health Services Inc. plans to open a billing center in Malvern in the spring and wants to hire up to 50 new employees through a job fair next week, the King of Prussia company said Thursday.

By the end of this year, the new office for Independence Physician Management, which was founded in 2012 and operates in 140 locations nationwide, is expected to employ 90, UHS said.

The job fair is scheduled for 2 to 7:30 p.m. March 8 at the new office, 51 Valley Stream Parkway, Building 1, which is on the Cerner campus. Registration through Eventbrite is required.

The company is looking for people experienced in billing, claims, coding, collections, credit customer service, and related management.

Independence Physician Management includes physicians groups in Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas.
